Pre-mastering is part of the CDROM development process. It occurs when all of the elements that have been created over so many long days & nights are assembled on the disc.

All files and directories can be specified now and placed on the disc to insure optimum performance. At the conclusion of the process you will be given a CDR one-off which you may then test before commiting to thousands of discs. Once you have approved the disc then it will be sent to the replication plant to be made into a glass master and finally replicated.

Now with the advent of cdplus+ your RedBook audio Cd can be pre-mastered along with your CDROM providing a media rich alternative to the traditional AudioCD. The disc is multi-volume, multisession and will play in your CD player as well as in the CDROM drive of your computer. To exploit this new format to it's full potential is is suggested that the ROM portion of the disc be interactive to enhance the experience of the end user. At raindance we use Macromedia Director to generate the interactivity on these discs.
